Taylor D Hensley, BSN, RN, CPHON

My daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer back in March and Taylor became her primary nurse. We have been in the hospital for over 4 months due to M having many complications from chemo. Taylor has become a true family member to us. She makes sure every time she is our nurse to ensure my daughter is getting the proper care. Whether that may be the correct nutrition or medication, and goes above and beyond to get my daughter the attention she needs. Even on days she is either charge nurse or in clinic, she reads over my daughter's notes, checks in, offers to get our laundry cleaned, offers coffee, and responds to pages. She puts a smile on my daughter's face like no one can. All the nurses on this floor have been truly incredible but Taylor will always have an everlasting effect on our family. She’s made a horrible situation into something that is so much more tolerable. We have gained so much more than a nurse but someone I will call a friend.
