Taylor Escobedo, RN

Taylor is amazing! As a charge nurse, she’s organized and always available to help her staff. Especially any immediate needs to care for patients. There was a specific time when the unit was busy, and there was also a fresh open heart scheduled for the day. There was no Resource/RN Breaker. She was not scheduled to work, but she volunteered to come and help. She was supposed to stay for a certain amount of time but ended up staying longer to help with my CABG patient. My patient was very unstable, had to give multiple blood products, and had to milk the chest tube frequently because it was constantly clotting. The patient ended up going back to the OR a few hours after CABG. Taylor stayed to help stabilize the patient. She went above and beyond and played a great part in giving the best care for the patient and had a positive outcome for the patient’s recovery. It is a privilege to be on her team.
