I don't have the words to express how great of a nurse I think Taylor is. I always know her patients are being very well cared for. She has a personality that is always connecting with her patients and making them feel safe and special. I've had many patients tell me how much they like Taylor and hope they have her as a nurse again. She always checks in on patients that she has had previous days and makes sure she knows they're still doing well, and with our patients, it's so important for them to know we care.
I remember one instance in which Taylor was very worried about one of her patients (he was having chest pain) so she just sat in the room with him until he became more stable. She goes above and beyond for our patients. We have a patient who has been here several months, and she takes time out of her day to go play Uno with him, which always makes his day. She spends any extra time she has with her patients, getting to know them, walking with them, and just making sure they're doing as well emotionally and physically as possible. Also, speaking as another nurse, she is a wonderful team player and coworker. She is always checking in and offering help to other nurses who need it. She doesn't ever have to be asked. Taylor is a great nurse, one of the best I work with, and that says a lot because I work with some amazing nurses.
