My baby was admitted to the NICU at Hurley. I was so anxious I could barely sleep and I remember how hard it was for me to leave the NICU. All of the nurses were amazing but one stood out to me. I remember coming to visit with my baby around 1AM, as usual I could not sleep while he was in NICU. But when I walked in, Taylor Huebbers had him out and was giving him the cutest mohawk. She had taken out his IV and explained how well he was doing to myself and my husband. She also gave him the cutest setup in his incubator and you could really tell how much she cared based on how neat she kept everything. We still talk about Taylor to this day. I remember how at ease she made me feel. After seeing her with him I was finally able to sleep. She truly embodies the epitome of nursing and as a fellow nurse myself, I am so thankful for her.
