Taylor has made huge impacts for our night shift nursing team in NICU. As a CSL, and an associate of 20 years, I cannot say I have ever been this satisfied with our leader. Taylor is honest, holds everyone accountable using our CHOC values, and is always there to listen and help when needed. We have had low morale in our unit prior, and I can see the shift in our staff. I have learned how to be a better leader with her guidance. I know I am always fully supported and trusted by her and am allowed the autonomy needed to do my job well. With Taylor, staff always knows what is expected of them and that they are treated fairly. That mutual respect goes a long way with our staff. There is a greater feeling of teamwork, and she is the leader of our team, but she is also right in there with us. She knows how to look at the bigger picture and keep focused on our ultimate goals for our unit. I am proud to be a part of her team and excited to see her lead us into the future so we can provide the best care to our patients and families as possible.
