The ED had an elderly couple involved in an APS case come in as patients. Because of their abusive home situation, they were to be discharged to a hotel to stay temporarily. The gentleman stated to Taylor McKinney how good a burger and shake sounded while he was in the ED. Once the patients were settled up at the hotel, Taylor got GrubHub delivered to the patient herself so they had food since they had no money and means of eating. The gentleman got his burger and milkshake. Taylor even followed up the next day with APS to make sure they had a plan in place for the patients so that they would not go without, and she wasn't even to be at work yet.
