Taylor McKinney 2025, LPN
After two miscarriages, a D&C, and cyst rupture that caused internal bleeding, I was admitted to UNCBR. I was placed on the Family Center Unit, although I knew I would not leave that unit with a baby.
I knew I would be taken care of the moment Taylor took over my care. She is caring. compassionate, and made sure I was not alone. My pain was so severe physically and mentally. Taylor would come running to me when my pain escalated, and she would check on me throughout the night. The one thing that stood out to me is that she n made me feel less alone. T
Taylor made me feel like a person, not a random patient on the unit. She took care of my family and my husband. She was amazing!
