My granddaughter was recently in the PICU at Wolfson. All of her nurses were absolutely wonderful with her and offered so much support to our family. However, the level of compassion that Taylor possesses really stood out. When the decision was made to transition to end-of-life care, Taylor went above and beyond to ensure our family was as comfortable as possible and had everything we needed so we could enjoy what little time we have left with our sweet girl. She brought us drinks and snacks when we needed physical nourishment and offered kind words when needed emotional nourishment. She was a shoulder to cry on in the moments when we just could not contain our grief any longer. It felt as if Taylor was an extension of our family during our time in the hospital. She cared for all of us with such warmth. I am a nurse myself and have met a multitude of other nurses throughout my personal and professional life. Taylor is truly one of the best nurses I have ever encountered.
