August 2026 Honoree
Taylor Roberts, BSN, RN
I am honored to recognize Taylor Roberts for the incredible compassion, kindness, and servant leadership she demonstrates every day.
Taylor consistently puts people first. Whether she is supporting a caregiver through a challenging shift, helping a new team member build confidence, or taking the time to listen to someone's concerns, she approaches every interaction with empathy, respect, and genuine care. Her calm presence and approachable nature make her someone caregivers trust and naturally turn to for guidance and support.
What makes Taylor truly special is her ability to build meaningful relationships. She takes the time to know her caregivers, celebrate their successes, recognize their contributions, and support them through difficult moments. She creates an environment where people feel safe speaking up, asking questions, and growing professionally. Her encouragement and belief in others foster teamwork, trust, and a culture where caregivers genuinely support one another.
Taylor's compassion also extends to the patients and families we serve. She consistently advocates for patient-centered care and ensures patients and families feel heard, supported, and respected. On days when Taylor is serving as our Nurse Clinical Leader, it is not uncommon for patients and family members to seek her out specifically. They trust her judgment, value her perspective, and find comfort in her presence. She takes the time to answer questions, ease concerns, and provide reassurance during some of the most vulnerable moments in a patient's healthcare journey. Her ability to connect with people leaves a lasting impression and exemplifies the LOVE values in action.
Taylor's actions have had a profound impact on both our unit culture and the experience of our patients and families. Because of Taylor's leadership, caregivers feel supported, valued, and empowered. She has helped create a culture where team members know they can rely on one another and where people feel comfortable seeking help when they need it. Her positive influence has strengthened teamwork, improved communication, and fostered a sense of belonging among our caregivers. [Re: Float Concerns | Outlook], [June Unit PG Minutes | Word]
Her impact is equally evident in the experiences of our patients and families. Families actively seek her out because they know she will listen, provide honest guidance, and help them navigate difficult situations. Her ability to form trusting relationships helps reduce anxiety, improve communication, and create a more positive experience during hospitalization. Patients and families remember Taylor not because of a specific task she completed, but because of how she made them feel—heard, cared for, and supported.
Taylor's greatest accomplishment is not the initiatives she leads, but the people she uplifts. Through her kindness, compassion, and authentic leadership, she has touched the lives of countless caregivers, patients, and families. She leaves every person she encounters feeling a little more supported, a little more valued, and a little more hopeful.
Taylor truly embodies the spirit of LOVE, and our unit is a better place because of her.
Thank you, Taylor, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
