Taylor Spahn, RN

My son had a BMT recently at PCH. While all of the nurses were great, Taylor Spahn had a certain sparkle & an extra bit of joy that she would bring every day we were fortunate enough to have her! She would make the daily/nightly tedious tasks FUN & DOABLE by adding her infectious positivity, laughter & lighthearted jokes throughout each day/night. She would leave smiles on every face in the room, whether she was coming or going. Her attention to detail, cleanliness & knowledge of the entire process of chemo through engraftment was always on point. She provided quick & precise answers to every question we asked. It’s not fun for anyone to be in the hospital for an extended period, especially a 14-year-old boy. Taylor absolutely made it the best experience, all things considered. She is a young, brilliant light with such a bright future ahead of her. Our entire family will fondly remember her. Also, she will go down in our family history as a VIP of nurses in the ‘Journal of M’s Journey – 2024.’
