Paige and Taylor provided extraordinary care during one of the most important moments of my life, and I truly believe they embody everything the DAISY Award stands for. When I arrived at Labor & Delivery, the unit was full, and I was ready to deliver. Because everything happened so quickly, I was placed in the recovery room. Even with the unexpected circumstances and fast pace of the moment, Paige and Taylor never once made me feel unsettled. They were calm, confident, attentive, and completely in control, and their steady presence made all the difference. My doctor was unable to make it to the bedside before it was time for me to push, but Paige and Taylor stepped in seamlessly. They guided me with confidence, compassion, and encouragement, and they were there to safely catch my baby. In such a significant moment, I felt supported and knew I was in capable hands.

What makes their care even more remarkable is that after helping bring my baby safely into the world, they responded immediately when I began hemorrhaging. They shifted seamlessly from gentle encouragement to urgent, skilled action, working side by side with my provider quickly and competently. Their ability to remain composed, act decisively, and provide such exceptional care in the moment is something I will never forget. From beginning to end, Paige and Taylor made sure both my baby and I were protected, supported, and cared for in every possible way. They did far more than simply do their jobs. They brought strength, compassion, skill, and grace to my delivery experience, and because of them, I felt safe and cared for throughout it all. I will always be grateful for the role they played in one of the most meaningful days of my life. Their clinical excellence, teamwork, compassion, and ability to rise to the occasion make them shining examples of nursing at its very best. They are more than deserving of this recognition.
