July 2017 Honoree
techeryl anderson, RN
I was in the hospital to have my breast removed. This was very traumatic to me and I was in pain. I would not talk to anyone when I awoke from surgery. TeCheryl talked to me and told me that she was there to help me. She told me that the doctor had prescribed pain medication and that I should try to eat. TeCheryl talked to me until I realized that if I wanted to get well, that I would have to eat, take the medication and talk to the staff. When I woke up, I did not know if I wanted to live, but TeCheryl was so kind that she made me come out of my depression.
Thank you, TeCheryl, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
