I am a medical student currently in my second week of rotations and in my short time here I have been inspired by Ms. Tecia's commitment to serving her patients. Not only has she gone the extra mile for my educational experience, but she also gives the same level of nurturing and compassion to all her patients. The most stand-out of these experiences was watching the extra level of care she gave to a newborn we had admitted for a week to wean off in-utero narcotic dependence. There was never a moment I saw Ms. Tecia sitting around. If there was downtime, she utilized it to ensure that our young patient was as comfortable as possible. Ms. Tecia has been a true inspiration in my young career.
