Ted was my mom's nurse many months ago and what an extraordinary young man. Patient, kind, and genuine to the core. You see, my mom has dementia, going on 14 years now. It takes a special person to care for a dementia patient in a hospital. Ted is that special human being. He was gentle when handling my mom and didn't think twice about saying 'I love you' back to my mom when she lovingly told him multiple times. He attended to her every need, but most importantly, he stopped and listened to her; a beautiful trait we should all take note and do more of. Life can be short and/or difficult for many. Ted taught me to never take life for granted.
