Teeraka Khuanwilai, RN

Throughout her 11.5 years of working as a nurse, Ms. Teeraka was able to perform her assigned duties to the best of her ability. She takes excellent care of chemotherapy patients. She uses her knowledge of both science and art to provide holistic care, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually, making patients and families feel safe and satisfied. Ms. Teeraka provides timely assistance to patients. She is excellent in time management, manpower, and risk prevention.

In addition, Ms. Teeraka is involved in creating innovations that promote a good experience for cancer patients. She represented the team that developed “a lovely embroidery handmade hat” that conceals the IV pole and saline bottle containing chemo being dripped into the patient's vein. The hat has helped reduce patients' fear and anxiety while receiving chemotherapy and increases the value of attentive nursing care. This idea has won the top 10 invention award in the "BHQ Idea Sharing" contest.
