TehSiang Lam is a nurse in the MRI suite at Yale New Haven Hospital. A celebration in May 2012 with the team was exciting for all. She was nominated by one of the technologists for her compassion and dedication not only to her patients but to the team. Siang is a ball of fire and will do what she can to meet the needs of her patients. Many of the patients return to the hospital on multiple occasions for scans. When they know Siang is in the MRI suite they feel safe and comfortable. She frequently helps patients coordinate their treatments to save them unnecessary trips to the hospital. She has developed and educated the team to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. She is a role model to the profession of nursing and is extraordinary every day.
