I was transported in a toxic state by Acadian Ambulance to your ER. The ER staff were very professional and proficient. They stabilized me, and in less than five hours, they sent me to the fifth floor. My diagnosis was bacteremia with kidney damage and liver failure. The fifth-floor staff were unbelievable, from nurses to nursing assistants to technicians. All were absolutely magnificent. I started to implement your Kudos program of daisies, but I was apprehensive that I might overlook even one, so today I give the fifth-floor staff one giant DAISY. The doctor assigned to my case could not have been a better pick. We were amazed. Thank you, Lourdes, for bringing me back to the land of the functional living.
