After travelling 900 miles to Chicago to see my son, Teneshia made my family feel we were in our own backyard. Her professional and caring attitude made a real plus. She is above and beyond many in this profession and I hope that she is recognized for the exemplary care that she provides for patients and families. What a nurse should be - firm, kind and caring. The best nurse I have met in my 67 years.

We were very disappointed in waiting around after being told tests were scheduled. Teneshia went out of her way, 'above and beyond' to help us reach out to our cardiologist at another hospital. She made numerous calls to be sure our tests would finally be done, something we sat around waiting for on the weekend. She took time to be with our son, knowing his uneasiness during procedures. Always cheerful and a warm caring smile, she made the remainder of our time pleasant. A great nurse!
