Tenitra had a patient whose husband stayed by her side. She is very sick and is not doing well. She realized the patient's husband was not eating as he was afraid his wife would pass when he left the room. Tenitra went to the cafeteria and bought him food so that he wouldn't be hungry. She did this for multiple days. Once we as a leadership team found this out we let her know about the vouchers and she made sure he was receiving lunch every day. Tenitra has made a connection with this patient and her husband. She has made an impact not only on the husband but also on the patient's end of life care. This is an amazing example of the continuous care she provides for her patients daily. She is a role model for our profession. Her compassion and care are infectious and I am proud to have her on our team
