My husband was admitted after a stay at another hospital. He had surgery on his knee for an infection. Tera has been our day nurse. From the first moment, she has treated my husband with amazing care. Not only does she care about my husband, but she also cares about us as a family. She checks his orders as soon as the doctor comes in. She is on top of order changes. When she comes into the room, she tells him exactly what she is doing and when she will return. She always tells him to put his light on if needed and comes in a very timely manner when he does put it on. She is always thinking ahead to make him more comfortable. If we come in and miss the doctor, she will fill us in on what we missed. My husband has an incision from another hospital that is open and needs wet to dry dressing changes twice a day. Tera changed his dressing in a very professional way on her shift. Tera is very proactive in addressing small things so they do not become big things. She went and got cream to put on his backside for a small red spot. It is not open, but she is watching it. We have had other nurses here as well. I will say you are very lucky and we are blessed to have been cared for by Tera. She has made a difference in my husband's care. This is our first stay at a Kettering hospital and because of her, this will be our choice in the future.
