When I first met Teresa she was so compassionate. She realized immediately that I was in denial, but she let me talk and tell her what I thought. She asked all the right questions and finally, a light bulb went off as my insulin pump was beeping. I was not hearing and she asked the most important question, "could I be in denial?"
I have had diabetes since I was 50 years old and received a pump at the age of 55. I am now 65, and Teresa has answered and helped me with all my questions about my diabetes. She has never once made me feel stupid. I now have my A1C from 13 to 5.8, 80-90 blood sugar, and completely in control and understanding my carbs, checking my blood sugars 4-6 times daily because I also produce no insulin now. Teresa helped me go through Medicare to get my insulin and all my supplies. Teresa has literally saved my life!
