A month ago I came in for outpatient surgery. After the surgery something went wrong and I was admitted to the ICU department then a hospital stay afterwards. Three and a half weeks later I had to go back into surgery as an inpatient to correct the previous surgery. Teresa has been there for me since day one. She came and visited my family in ICU, she came to my hospital rooms to check on me and this last surgery, she stayed over three hours after she was off work to make sure that everything went OK with me. The next morning she was back in my hospital room to check on me again. She would also relay how I was to the rest of the PACU team because it was very much of a joined effort when the post-op occurrence after the first procedure. I have never had a nurse go so far above and beyond to make sure that I was ok but also that my family was ok. I will forever be grateful for her.
