I want to acknowledge Teresa. I have never had such a caring and dedicated nurse. She was there for me and my family in the scariest of times of my life. With a GI bleed, she cared if I was hurting and was always checking on me. At one point I was at my lowest and couldn't stop crying. She held my hand and consoled me with compassion. She is a great asset to the medical field and to Waterman.

Teresa exemplifies all of the most wonderful things about this hospital. She is an inspiration! Teresa demonstrates compassion and kindness. She takes the time to listen to a family's concerns and fears. She answers the questions she can and gets answers to those she can't. She stayed in the room following a visit with a doctor with a thick accent, to verify that we had understood him, and asked if we had remaining questions. She continuously went above and beyond and recognized anxiety in the patient and took steps to alleviate. Teresa made dad's visit so much easier and did everything possible to ensure dad received the best care and got answers to all of our questions.
