Teresa Conder, RN

As everyone knows, Southeast is a very busy unit. Management does an excellent job assisting all the staff with their needs in addition to other managerial responsibilities.  However, one particular manager stands out for providing compassion and kindness not only to our patients but also to all the nurses at Southeast, and that is Teresa.  Her soul is pure and spiritual, and patients speak of how kind and loving she is as an individual.  There were multiple moments when we were short-staffed (as we always are), and she stepped in to ambulate patients who needed to go to the bathroom or simply wanted to sit in a chair or have their meals opened so that they could eat.

Teresa is extraordinary, and she has the beauty to calm a situation or an overwhelming day with her presence.  Teresa may be a manager, but she does just that!  She manages to care for patients, to care for staff, family members, and colleagues on days that are hectic, and with all that, she manages to get herself to make people smile.

She is genuine, and without her, we feel incomplete, and she definitely deserves a DAISY!
