We had a patient on Med-Surg who had been in the hospital twice in one month. The patient was going through a hard time and staying on a friend's couch. At discharge, the patient did not have the money to pay for his discharge medications. Teresa called our pharmacy and paid for the needed medications for the patient. She has a big heart and did this act of kindness to benefit the patient. Teresa is always going above and beyond for patients on her unit.
