Teresa treated me with dignity and respect. She even called the unit on her day off to make sure I was doing ok. With Teresa taking care of me, I knew she genuinely cared for me. She knew that I had a lot of anxiety about my wound care since the wound vac was extremely painful. During the dressing change, she held my hand and provided words of reassurance. What I appreciated the most was that she gave me a call on her day off to check on me.
