Certainly, there must have been a tragic error!! Here’s why: The title “Nurse” is so completely insufficient to even begin to HINT at the depth, breadth, and scope of Teresa’s contributions and dedication to her profession.

Although she is clearly an amazing, seasoned healthcare shining star, I believe it to be nearly impossible for Teresa to fully realize the superior impact she has on the overall “Patient Experience”-especially mine. This is my heartfelt effort to express my gratitude to Teresa while also hoping that she will be formally blessed with the recognition that she does not even seek. My entire experience at Grandview was really wonderful throughout my admission there for two weeks as an inpatient. 

However of most notable importance is the easy realization of how very very deeply and positively impactful (both medically and holistically) my patient experience was specifically due to being under the care of a fantastic treatment that is fortunate enough to include, embrace, and support 2 tireless worker such as Teresa.

I’m confident that even without Teresa’s presence my hospital stay would’ve been great. However, the unparalleled magic that Teresa herself immediately brought to the treatment team raised my experience above and beyond what even I could have prayed for. And it never wavered. 

It surely seems that Teresa is calmly confident regarding her medical training and numerous years of professional experience, and she should be. But please never let it be overlooked that the ways in which Teresa seamlessly incorporates the above attributes with her attentiveness to “the whole person” is far deep than only medically—creates a gift of comfort and a feeling of being truly cared about that will echo much long after physical/medical challenges have “healed”. Teresa is not only a “DAISY” she is an entire field of them.  I will remember you always.
