Teresa G Mack, ADN, RN

A patient called in to speak with the CNO about Teresa. She was brought to tears in telling the CNO the impact that Teresa made on not only her stay but her life. This is what the patient shared, "Let me tell you about a nurse on 4W that took care of me, Teresa Mack. She was the best nurse ever and was an angel in disguise. She took the time to give me a shower and gave me a sense of normalcy during such a difficult time in my life. Teresa even washed my hair. I was also recommended for a PICC line, and I began to cry after I had a difficult interaction with one of the IV nurses. Teresa came in to check on me, calmed me down, and explained that it was okay to be upset and that they would find another way to give me the medications I needed if I didn't want the PICC line. There is so much I want to say about her and how amazing she was. I want to be sure she receives all the recognition she can for all she has done for me. "
