Teresa Hogan, a nurse in our outpatient pulmonary department, was selected after being nominated by a patient.
The nomination speaks of Teresa’s compassion, care and support for her patients. Specifically, the patient recalls a time when Teresa helped the patient, who was struggling to pay for several expensive medications, secure 2 weeks of free medication to get her through the rough spot. In the patient’s words, “NEVER had anyone cared enough to look out for me like that!”
