Dr. S was in the middle of a very difficult case on a Sunday afternoon and there was an issue with a surgical tech not being comfortable with the case. Dr. S requested that another tech be called in to complete the case. No other techs were available to come. Teresa was a scrub tech for 10+ years before she became a nurse and when they got in touch with her, she came immediately. She handled the case with ease and greatly impacted the quality of care this patient received. She not only put the rest of the team at ease, but she also made Dr. S feel at ease. Teresa is very conscientious when it comes to providing safety and quality for the patients we treat at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.
