Teresa greeted me warmly in the waiting room and immediately apologized for my wait (it was only 5 minutes). She sincerely inquired into how I was doing that day, helping to relieve my anxiety over possibly having another melanoma. When we arrived in the room in which she would make the digital photographs, she assisted me into the chair, and explained what she was would be doing. And then at each time when she was going to touch me. After the digital photos were taken, she reviewed each with me, again explaining the reason for each. And then, after removing the sim card, she ensured that I saw that all shots had been deleted from the digital camera. All of this she did with courtesy and a very evident sense of caring. While I believe that all of Teresa’s actions demonstrate that she takes I CARE to heart and lives into those values, her application of Respect- she treated me with the utmost of dignity- and the Excellence of her care- especially her attention to detail- are to be commended. (Please note that it was late into the visit that Teresa realized that I am a fellow employee. I believe that she would have treated me with the same care, concern, and respect regardless.)
