Teresa Pohle, EdD, MSN, RNC-OB,C-EFM
The first 90% of my labor experience was fairly uneventful, if pleasant. I had a Teresa who made me feel comfortable, relaxed and attended to – all things we associate with the best care from the best nurses. But it’s when I stopped feeling that way that Teresa made a meaningful difference in my life.
The mood changed very quickly when she administered a routine exam to check my dilation. In an instant she went from mild-mannered nurse to Wonder Woman, as she recognized the signs of what I now know was cord prolapsed. Things moved fast after that, and I will never forget the urgency and skill with which she jumped up on my bed and directed several previously unseen technicians to spring into action, all of whom I owe a great debt for their quick response.
Teresa is probably kind, compassionate and dedicated to all of her patients, but when I needed more than that she was ready. She insured my baby found his way into the world safely so she will always be a superhero to me.
