My father was recently a patient on your unit. I arrived to the hospital in the morning to find Theresa and her graduate nurse evaluating my Dad to assess whether or not he could swallow pudding without aspirating. Everything Theresa did for my Dad, she did well. She also set a great example for her graduate nurse to learn what was expected of her. She listened to me, and it was the small things, like getting me a box of tissues when I was upset, and calling the social worker for me, when things like releases were not on the chart like they were supposed to be. Those things meant a lot to me. Theresa was the leader of the patient care team and I thought she did a great job.
