Teresa is Med/Surg charge nurse and doesn't take patient assignments as much as she used to. She is the charge nurse every day because of her ability to exhibit the ICARE Values. She absolutely maintains trust and confidence with all she encounters. She advocates for staff and especially our patients. Teresa has the ability to remain calm under pressure and we owe a lot of the compliments our ward gets to her, because she influences such a positive atmosphere. Even though she isn't the main nurse over one patient, in a way she isoverseeing the care of all our patients and never hesitates to help another RN or share her knowledge of nursing. She is hard working and often doesn't get a thank you, so I just wanted to acknowledge Teresa for her commitment to excellence in serving our veterans. Thank you, Teresa!
