Every year hundreds we see so many new nurses in our hospital, they are eager to make a difference in the lives of others. More seasoned nurses take on the responsibility of a preceptor, ensuring our newer nurses are oriented to the unit, hospital, and overall skill set required. However, Teresa Worth takes being a mentor and preceptor to a whole new level! 

Ms. Worth was nominated by a new colleague who highlighted the time, patience, and extraordinary measures that Ms. Worth took to make sure she felt comfortable on her unit. Explaining different guidelines, ensuring understanding, and providing constructive feedback to make every new nurse an asset to their team.
