Teresita Aquino, RN, is a soft-spoken, calm nurse who tends to her patient's basic and emotional needs along with their medical needs. She is always pleasant, professional and smiling. While on modified duty, I had the pleasure of interviewing many patients. Teresita's patients stated that she made them feel comfortable because she explained everything to them. Even the most challenging patients remembered her name and only had great things to say, above and beyond in some cases. Her rooms are clean and her patients always get bathed and fed no matter what the census or staffing issues are. She helps her co-workers and is always pleasant and that is not an exaggeration. She is a stellar example of the core values of Sierra Vista.
