Loyal, fair, motivated, and good-hearted are a few words that come to mind when describing an awesome well-rounded person, I get to call my leader.
I have watched Teri perform and overcome heavy workloads. She is always engaged and professional. She will assist when needed. She allows our team to work autonomously but is always available for leadership/guidance. She is a wonderful example of a nurse leader, which encourages our team to do our best. Always enthusiastic and empathetic. Teri is a significant influence on my satisfaction with my nursing role. I feel supported, valued, and included. I hope to work alongside her as long as I can so that I may improve my communication, innovation, and leadership skills. We are so grateful to have Teri as our nurse leader.

Teri is the epitome of what a leader should be. I have never seen her not jump in to help. No matter the job, when something is needing to be done, she does it. During the pandemic, I was able to see her not just manage her day-to-day operations, but jump in to do Director bed bath rounding, mattress pump round up, education, and SBAR writing. I have been able to see her run various departments, and even pick up departments while searches are happening for those departments. It happens seamlessly. The amazing thing is that those units function well and grow even though it is interim, and the new leader picks it up in a better place than before.

The sign of a true leader is the success of their staff. I would say that the wound and endo teams are highly successful. They work extremely well as a team, they participate in not only hospital education and presentations, but help to run community teams out in the community. They present their work at conferences across the country and publish that work as well. Teri’s team was awarded a LEAP grant.

Teri has gone above and beyond her limits of expectation in assisting me with clarifying the issue with my scholarship through Banner. I ended up waiting 11 months before I was awarded my scholarship, after a multitude of attempts in reaching out to upper management and leaders whom I did not receive answers from. Teri invested her time and effort into my situation to right the wrong of how my scholarship was lost in the transition of leaders. She was able to make the connection with the Del Webb and Boswell CNOs and Boswell COO to make the award happen before my tuition deadline. I could not have gotten to this point without her help and her vigorous actions to help me further my education. This is just one of the many examples Teri has demonstrated excellent leadership.

Teri is the type of leader who isn’t afraid to jump in and get the job done. She has a positive attitude and takes pride in her work and is always conscientious of what’s best for Sophia and her teams. She’s helped on the floor and transferred patients between departments during COVID to help expedite patient care. In addition, Teri provides education and resources to her team to promote professional growth. Loyal, fair, motivated, and good-hearted are a few words that come to mind when describing an awesome well-rounded person, I get to call my leader.

Teri is always open to general discussion regarding patient care and personal issues offering suggestions, troubleshooting, and solutions. Supportive, understanding, flexible, and allows us to be flexible.
She does not micromanage. Believes that we the team can make appropriate decisions but is always there for support. Gives prompt feedback holding us accountable for our individual responsibilities.

Teri role models Banner's mission & values encouraging the team to reach our goals, and always striving for excellence. Cheery disposition rubs off on us all.

Teri is confident and charismatic. She is the epitome of an exemplary nurse leader and supports us in working autonomously. She encourages teamwork and growth. We are incredibly grateful to have her example. Teri is an example of an excellent leader and a great boss. Our clinic is so fortunate to have her as our leader.  Her guidance and support have been invaluable to our clinic. Thank you for your commitment to outstanding performance and your commitment to excellence. She has always made herself available to us when we needed her. She is always energetic and ready to listen to our concerns or fears.  She inspires us every time with her hard work.  Thank you for always bringing a smile to everyone on our team.

Teri is the most Amazing Leader! She is supportive of whatever you need or want to do. She always has a smile to greet you and a great positive attitude! She is like a Super “Wonder Woman” when it comes to helping in our department as well as other departments in the hospital. You may see her in the morning at a meeting or on a conference call, in the afternoon she is transporting patients, helping other managers and patients. She always has a positive and motivating way to present our department with anything new or any changes that may be coming our way. She is on the ball with any problems that may arise and faces challenges straight on! I am confident that we have a leader who will support our department with any of our needs.
