The son of a patient from unit52, asked that Teri is recognized for her outstanding work as she supported his father. The patient had been very sick and Teri provided compassionate care while being a strong advocate for all of the family. Teri helped to arrange an important meeting with the doctor. This also helped to get prescriptions that were delayed while recommending a change that would be impactful for his dad's homecare. He said that "Teri has shown us that a nurse can really impact lives with her experience and understanding."
