Terrence was by far the best nurse I have had the chance to meet. He was very hands-on with his patients. He made contact with all of his patients early in his shift. When he entered their room he was all there. He did his assessments to the tee. I have never met a nurse who was as efficient as he was.

His medication pass was spot on! Yes, I am only a student nurse who shadowed him for the day. However, he left me awe-struck with his capabilities. He treated every one of his patients like they were his family. I watched him straighten patients' bedside tables and I watched him assist his tech in pulling patients in bed several times. He did not complain to any of the other nurses. His floor was split into a Large L shape and he never blinked an eye at his assignment. Yes, I am only a student nurse but I am also the future!

My class and I have experienced some wild examples in our clinicals but he was extremely eager to help and very clear in his description of his job. I think what impressed me most (as if this is not enough) was that he enjoyed himself and never stopped! However, he made it his goal to follow through with every task and made the patients smile and sometimes belly laugh in the process.
