Terri is the perfect example of a great nurse. She goes out of her way to make patients and their families comfortable and calm about their situation. She is often assigned the more emotionally difficult patients for the nursing staff because of her gifts of extreme patience and compassion. Family often request her to be their loved one's nurse and she has received numerous compliments from families.

Terri is a leader for our unit as she is frequently orienting a new student, a new RN or a traveling RN. She is diligent in quality measures for the unit and the hospital and is often the one reminding others to be the same. She serves as a relief charge nurse and does the scheduling for the unit.

She is always a team player, often staying after her shift to help other nurses. She is the most caring and generous person to family members, patients and to her co-workers. She volunteered to head up a CCRN review study group for the CVICU nurses and often encourages everyone to further their education.

Terri Crisp is the type of nurse that all directors want on their units. She is kind, gentle, patient, soft spoken, and a quiet leader. Her clinical expertise is often sought by her coworkers and she is well respected by the physicians. She is what you think of when you picture the nurse that you would want caring for your loved ones.
