Terri was my father's nurse on a busy Saturday. She was amazing with my father. She made him feel like he was her only patient that day even though she had a very busy assignment and was running back and forth to see a patient of hers in dialysis. She never once complained in front of us or acted as if my father was a bother. She encouraged him to get into the chair, a feat which no one had been successful at.

My father stated she is the type of nurse who would pat your hand or your head and say, "It's going to be all right, we will get you all better." This was one of the first nurses that I would have felt comfortable leaving my father with. My father likes to joke with the nurses and Terri was definitely a favorite as she joked continuously with him throughout the day. As a nurse myself, I can say Terri is amazing. Every day we wished Terri could be his nurse. Terri was just doing her "job" but she made my entire family feel as if this was not just a job but where she wanted to be. She is known on the unit as Momma Terri and now I know why.
