Terri Milsap-Hedrick checks in patients to the eye clinic, performs eyeglass fittings, and provides patient education. What makes her outstanding is her warm and welcoming way that she interacts with Veterans and their families. She makes all Veterans feel welcome and resolves issues at the site of care. She also takes the time to care for the other employee's that care for the Veterans in turn causing an over-all caring approach to patient centered care. The Veterans who are recipients of Terri's educational efforts are often heard proclaiming how caring and sensitive she is, often times making a difficult vision transition less traumatic. Terri has been with the VA for over 30 years and has aided in the growth of the Eye Clinic and continues to do so every day.
