Terri Morris went above and beyond when her patient did not understand their medication instructions after discharge. Terri was the nurse for a patient we had on the unit that was elderly and demented. She had recently lost her spouse and moved to Lubbock to be with her sister. The sister was also sick at home and therefore unable to be at the hospital with the patient. Terri took very good care of this patient. When the patient was discharged, Terri was her nurse.

Around shift change that evening the sister called with questions about medications. Terri took down the address and after work went by their residence and went over all their medications. She spent about an hour with this family. Terri still has children at home and is always ready and willing to go above and beyond where her care is concerned. Terri truly loves her job and it shows in the great job she does."

This is just one of many examples of how Terri demonstrates compassion, kindness and dedication to her profession. Terri goes above and beyond for her patients and their families every day.
