Terri was super gracious to our family during our Hospice stay in the home-going of my mother-"B.R." Terri is very kind-hearted and extremely patient in answering our numerous/sometimes repetitive questions and concerns. Her demeanor was ALWAYS soft-spoken, calming, gracious, loving, and kind. She sensed our anxiousness and uncertainty. She was extremely kind in her care to our mother, my brother, and myself in making sure we were comfortable or if we needed anything. She understood our heartbreak, never caught us off guard, and didn’t hesitate in response to fulfilling a need/request. Simply put, “A HEART OF GOLD.” She remembered our names and made us feel like family, family that mattered!! It was as though she anticipated before we ever knew what to ask or what we were feeling. Truly an amazing lady inside and out-Awesome RN!! There were several nurses handling my mother’s care, but Terri stood out by far as the most deserving of this DAISY Award acknowledgment. In fact, we had to return to the Hospice facility after our mother’s passing to collect some left behind items. Terri was immediately welcoming, called us by name (that family feeling), truly was concerned with our well-being, and was very sympathetic concerning our recent loss.
