Terry is a great coworker and an amazing nurse who goes out of his way to provide quality care and help others whenever he can. Recently, he jumped in to medicate and attend to my patients while I was preoccupied with a patient who was in great distress for an extended length of time. Terry did so without me ever having to ask for his assistance and due to his help, my patients got the care they required without any delay. Additionally, his assistance prevented my patient from being transferred to the CCU by allowing me and her physicians to work with her until her chest pain and shortness of breath were resolved. When managing a unit with the aid of only one other nurse on the weekends, it really helps to have a partner who will go above and beyond to ensure our patients receive the quality care they deserve.
