I was admitted for the 4th time to the UNMH Neuro ICU for issues with a procedure during the summer. After 10 days and a few setbacks, I was delayed for release. Instead of being able to be discharged on Friday, I was told that I would be able to leave on Monday. Terry worked diligently on Sunday and Monday in order to make my discharge go smoothly. He was mindful how important it was for me to get home and try to have a regular life after 5 weeks of fighting in the hospital. He became not only my best nurse but my strongest ally and advocate. He was completely instrumental in suggesting alternative solutions as problems arose, problems that appeared to prevent me, once again, from going home. He was my hero for two days while he helped tirelessly to get me back home to my family and my life. He's a wonderful person and nurse. I will never forget the hard work and kindness shown by Terry. Terry went above and beyond for me.
