We've had 2 situations recently where patients who were 7:30 surgery cases wanted to pray with a chaplain. In both situations, the chaplain was not available before the patient went into surgery. Terry went in to see the patient in both situations and offered to pray with the patient. She was sensitive to the patients' religious preferences and prayed with them based on this. What a difference she made for these two patients who were about to go into surgery. She provided comfort and peace of mind.
