Terry was caring for a patient on the Med Surg Unit at WMC. The patient had to have surgery. The patient found out that a second surgery was needed and was very upset. Terry took time out of her busy day to sit and talk to the patient. Terry re-assured the patient that things were going to be ok. Terry was off for a few days but on her next day back to work, she made a special effort to go and see the patient. This made the patient feel Terry's compassion toward him. Moments like this truly highlight what an Extraordinary Nurse Terry is.
