I have cancer and have been in the hospital three times over the last few months for time periods of 2-3 weeks. During my stays, Terry has been a caring and expectational nurse. He always took the time to print out and explained meds and the chemo and other drugs I was taking, including potential side effects. He ensured I was given chemo and transfusion on time. He carefully explained conflicts or confusion with doctors' orders, checked on me frequently, made me feel cared about and safe. I felt like a person, not just a patient. When I was anxious about a procedure that appeared to be occurring too soon, he went down with me to drop me off. Terry was cordial and kind to my family and I heard nothing but positive praise and compliments from his collogues who worked with him. Terry always went the extra mile in providing services to me and I was happy any time he was my nurse.

My husband was admitted for acute myeloid Leukemia and it was a very horrific news for us to accept and to deal with. Terry explained things thoroughly to us, gave us a lot of printouts on what the patient can eat or not eat, how to wash his blanket and clothing as I am having to do this to help reduce his nausea. I needed a form filled out for work ASAP to get approved for time off and he got in touch with the doctor and got it taken care of. He is an exemplary nurse. Thank you, Terry.
