There was a problem patient that had been with us in the ICU for a while. Hygiene had become an issue. Terri took the time and had the compassion (with the family's permission) to give the patient a haircut and beard trim. The patient looked like a brand new man! He felt better and the family was very grateful. This shows her generous loving nature. Another example was when we had a terminal patient whose family had just left after staying with him all night. Terri had just gotten there and the patient had begun to actively die. Terri pulled up a chair close to the patient's bed, held his hand and told him she was there and that she would stay with him. She reached down and hugged him. This shows her compassionate nature.
